APPSC Various Posts Eligibility Criteria:
Executive Officer Grade-III: Bachelor’s Degree from a University in India established/incorporated by a Central, State, or Provincial Act, or any UGC – recognized institution, or an equivalent qualification.
District Probation Officer Grade-II / Intake Probation Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology, or any graduation with an M.A. in Social Work or Psychology, or an M.A. with specialization in Criminology or Correctional Administration, from a University in India established/incorporated by a Central, State, or Provincial Act.
Industrial Promotion Officer: Not specified in the Brief Notification; educational qualification will be published in the Detailed Notification.
Supervisor Grade-I (Only for Women): Bachelor’s Degree in Home Science, B.S.W., Sociology, or one of several specified B.Sc. streams in Food Science & Nutrition/Applied Nutrition/Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics/Food Technology combined with Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry (as per G.O.Ms.No.14, WCD&SCs Dept., dated 27.06.2013). Only candidates with a higher qualification specifically in Home Science/Social Work/Sociology/Food Science & Nutrition are eligible.
Forest Section Officer: Bachelor’s degree with Botany, Forestry, Horticulture, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, or Agriculture as a subject, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Civil), from a recognized university or equivalent. Physical requirements are detailed in the online Detailed Notification.
Draughtsman Grade-II (Technical Assistant): A trade certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade, i.e. ITI in the state or its equivalent examination.
Forest Beat Officer: Must have passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent. Physical requirements are detailed in the online Detailed Notification.
Forest Range Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or equivalent, in one of the following subjects: Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications/Computer Science, Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, or Zoology. (For all eight posts, the notification states that applicants must possess the requisite educational qualification as on the date of the Detailed Notification.)
APPSC Various Posts Important Instructions:
- Applicants must satisfy themselves regarding the terms and conditions of the respective Recruitment Notification before applying online.
- The number of vacancies notified is provisional and subject to variation upon confirmation from the concerned department.
- Applicants must possess the requisite educational qualification as on the date of the Detailed Notification, not the date of the Brief Notification.
- The Detailed Notification carrying the full breakup of vacancies, scale of pay, age, community-wise reservation, educational qualification, and other instructions will be published on the Commission’s website on or before 16 October 2026.
- The date of the Detailed Notification will be reckoned as the crucial date in all aspects, including eligibility.
- For the Forest Section Officer, Forest Beat Officer, and Forest Range Officer posts, physical requirements/standards will be specified in the online Detailed Notification.
- The examination for each post is a single-level online (CBRT) test; no separate Screening Test will be held regardless of the number of applicants.
- Age Limit: Generally, 18 to 42 years for most posts, with standard age relaxations applicable for SC, ST, BC, EWS, and PwD candidates.
