EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Candidates Should Posses ITI, 12TH, 10TH
Age Limit:
Minimum Age Limit: 15 Years
Maximum Age Limit: 22/24 years for Freshers/Ex-ITI, MLT respectively.
Age relaxation is admissible as per rules

Stipend:
Fresher’s: 10th std Rs.6000/- (per month)
Fresher’s:12th std Rs.7000/- (per month)
Ex-ITI: Rs.7000/- (per month)
ENGAGEMENT & CONTRACT:
The selected candidates shall be engaged in the unit of their choice subject to the extent of vacancies
and they may have to engage in other units coming under the jurisdiction if so warranted by the
administrative requirement. The selected ITI/Non-ITI (Fresher’s) candidates have to execute a
contract of apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act-1961 and if such, candidates are minor; his
Guardian can execute the prescribed contract as per the guidelines of Regional Director of
Apprenticeship Training, Guindy, Chennai.
Note:
(i) Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons,
which are beyond their control. Before commencement of the training, the candidates have to
execute a contract of Apprenticeship.
(ii) Candidates who are willfully absent or whose surety is represented on his behalf during their
engagement/apprenticeship are required to refund the full cost of their training and any stipend
received, as determined by the Central Apprenticeship Adviser.
(iii) If any declaration furnished by the candidate is found to be false, he/she will be
disqualified/terminated at any stage of the training period without any notice.
