Essential Qualifications:

  • Full time & regular B.Sc. (Chemistry) Degree with Physics as one of the subjects + passing of NCVT examination in Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) Trade (AO(CP)) OR Full time & regular Three Years’ Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology + successful completion of 1 Year Training (BOAT) under Apprentice Act OR 4 years’/3½ years’ Sandwich Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology.
  • Minimum Percentage: Minimum 55% marks in last year / aggregate of last two semesters of qualifying examination (50% for SC/ST category candidates)

Selection Process:

  • Computer Based Online Objective Type Test (100 questions, 90 minutes, 200 marks with negative marking).
  • Document Scrutiny of provisionally shortlisted candidates (1:7 ratio).
  • Skill Test (Qualifying nature – 100 marks, minimum 60 marks required, 55 for SC/ST).
  • Final Selection on the basis of Online Test marks (100% weightage). Skill Test is qualifying only.
  • Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

  • Upper Age Limit for Unreserved Category: 30 years
  • Upper Age Limit for SC/ST Category: 35 years
  • Upper Age Limit for OBC (NCL) Category: 33 years
  • Additional Concession for Ex-Serviceman / Children / family members of the victims of 1984 riots: 5 years

  • For SC/ST/Female category/Ex-Serviceman candidates: NIL
