RRB JE Recruitment 2026 – Educational Qualification:

Junior Engineer (JE):

  • Three years Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline OR
  • Relevant Engineering qualification as specified for that particular JE post.
  • The notification accepts qualifications post-wise, so Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, S&T etc. have different prescribed branches.

S&T / Computer-related JE posts:

  • Three years Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering OR combination of relevant sub-streams of these basic streams.

Depot Material Superintendent (DMS):

  • Three Years Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
  • Higher qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech are also acceptable in lieu of three years Diploma in Engineering in the same discipline.

Age Limit: The lower and upper age limits indicated for a particular post(s) in the vacancy table will be reckoned as on 01.01.2027. Date of birth of candidates should be between the dates given below: (Both dates inclusive) All Categories: “Age Relaxation: As per Rules”.
