India Post GDS Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: Secondary School Examination (SSE)/10th standard pass certificate, with passing marks in Mathematics and English, from a Board recognized by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories. Candidates with equivalent qualification from any other board are not eligible

Local Language: Must have studied the local language (as prescribed post-wise for each Circle in Annexure-III of the notification)

Other Qualifications: Knowledge of computers; knowledge of cycling; and adequate means of livelihood besides the GDS allowances
